The 1900 acre Greenbriar property in Arkansas was purchased fully improved by any standard. Greenbriar, an outstanding waterfowl and deer hunting mecca located in Arkansas, was privately owned for over 60 years. After the purchase by Bill Benton, an Evolved Outdoors partner, a minimum amount of property manipulation was accomplished and a shift in the overall management of the property and facilities was implemented, and the property evolved from an overall expense item to a profit center with annual returns ranging from 15 to 20 percent. The property was managed under those return parameters until exit after six years with an overall return exceeding 100 percent.

deerDeer Creek

Deer Creek Lodge was an established hunting operation in Western Kentucky focusing on Whitetail deer, Eastern turkey and upland bird hunting. While successful in reputation, Deer Creek was not profitable and owned only a small amount of the land utilized for hunting. The property was purchased by an Evolved Outdoors partner. Immediately, a program of capital improvement, land acquisition, staffing and lodge changes, and overall sporting life philosophy changes were put into place. Land holdings increased from approximately 300 acres to over 1000 acres. First year sales of hunting outings accelerated from $250,000 to over $600,000. Deer Creek Lodge was awarded the prestigious ORVIS Endorsement for Shooting Destinations and still maintains that designation today as one of the top rated sporting adventures available.
